Membership – Begin Your Journey

Community service, fellowship, patriotism, and preserving the legacy of our ancestors are just a few of the benefits of joining the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Establishing your lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence is the first step on your journey to DAR membership.

Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War, is eligible for membership. DAR defines a “Patriot” as one who provided service or direct assistance in achieving American independence.

The members of the Cornerstone of Liberty, NSDAR, are here to assist you!

We welcome all membership inquiries and look forward to providing guidance and assistance with the application process. We also welcome you to join us at one of our regularly scheduled meetings held on a Wednesday beginning each September and ending May of the following year.
