The Cornerstone of Liberty Chapter, NSDAR, celebrated its first anniversary in May 2026. During our first year, we experienced steady growth, reaching nearly 80 members. Our membership is limited to residents of The Villages and their guests due to the regulations of our age-restricted community. Our members come from many different states across the country and bring with them a wealth of experiences and talents.
As DAR members, we share the common bond of descent from the men and women who helped secure America’s independence. As we commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, we honor not only soldiers and statesmen, but also the ordinary citizens whose courage and sacrifice made independence possible. Their legacy continues to inspire our work today.
Our activities focus on honoring the memory and sacrifices of our Patriots. Through education, we preserve our history while promoting patriotism and helping secure our nation’s future. Together, we strive to leave a legacy of accomplishments that future generations can proudly inherit.
